Bellaspa’s origin
Bella Spa began its story in 1999. A family run business from Vietnam later to open a salon in Manchester in late 2010.
The founder of Bella Spa, Diane worked as UNICEF's Regional Co-ordinator on Climate Change in Asia Pacific. Diane was chosen as one of the brightest youth leaders in Vietnam and received British Embassy's prestigious Chevening scholarship to study her MA at Leeds University in 2007. During her time in the UK, Diane researched the trend of booming express nail bars, meanwhile noticing a common decline in the quality of the service. This spurred on her determination to create an alternative day spa offering a quality service in a relaxed, friendly and professional environment where customer's health and beauty is of paramount importance.
It's was then Bella Spa Manchester was born.

Starting a business in a foreign country from a non-profit organisation background, Diane has since consistently incoporated her charitable values into the family business venture in Manchester. Because of Diane's honest and loving character reflecting in Bella Spa's award winning customer care service, Bella Spa's care quality has become the talk of the town in Manchester city centre.
Diane has since continued her involvement in charity projects funded by Bella Spa as part of her true passion and ethical responsibility as the company's director.
She has been an active supporter of local NGOs in the UK such as MacMillan Cancer Support, BBC Comic Sport Relief, Kidney for Life, Beechwood Cancer Care, BBC Children in Need.
Diane has been a founding director of various youth-driven development projects bringing about positive changes to the lives of children and young adults' both in Vietnam and abroad.
As a young person growing up in Vietnam, she has been directly involved in various projects in Vietnam. This is to name a few of outstanding projects in which Diane has directly involved as a founder and a mentor over the last 16 years.
Founder and Mentor: Green Ocean, A Youth-driven Environmental Initiative in Danang city, Vietnam has been running for over 10 years. The project empowers young peoople with leadership skills, learning resources on sustainable development raising public awareness on environmental issues in Vietnam.
Founder & Mentor: The Kids' Voice, a parent-led, kid-friendly English and skill building initiative promoting positive well-being for children in Danang city, Viet Nam since 2016.
The Kid's Voice was founded with the active participation of parents and kids of Vietnamese origin. Together mums and kids learn English, skill building the fun way and raise awareness on child sex abuse and violence the safe way.
Bella Spa has actively raised funds toward setting up the first free children English book library in Danang city of Vietnam creating a nuturing place for children to learn English and skills improving their wellbeing for the long term.

Mentor: Breast Cancer Network Vietnam, A Youth-driven Cancer Awaress Raising Initiative provides public with knowledge and resources supporting cancer early detection and cancer prevention methods. The project aims to help cancer patients and their families with hands-on skills, helpful resources, supporting groups and practical guidance & projects improving their lives in the fight against cancer.
